About 25 minutes from the resort, Belle Terre is French for beautiful earth, and it is. This watery wonderland designed by Reese Jones is sculpted from Pine forests and natural wetlands. Jones proclaimed every hole a "signature hole." Many say the first three, with serpentine fairway bunkers from tee to green, are the best. None are easy. Sand and waste bunkers, water hazards, marshes and wetlands abound. |
