Located about 60 minutes north of the resort in Calabash, NC, Meadowlands was designed by Willard Byrd and opened for play in 1997. They moved a lot of dirt to build this one, creating unusual elevations for a coastal course. And there is plenty of trouble lurking, with water on 15 of 18 holes and 70 waste bunkers and waste areas. Plus, it's long, playing at 7,054 yards from the championship tees. |
