Myrtlewood Palmetto
| Designer: |
Edmund Ault |
| |
| Description: |
The Palmetto is the newer of the Myrtlewood courses, an Edmund Ault design that opened in 1972 along a scenic section of the Intracoastal Waterway about 30 minutes north of the resort in Myrtle Beach. It's a traditional Scottish-style course, where you only see the clubhouse on the first and last holes. It's long, playing at 6,957 yards off the blue tees, and tough, with fairway bunkers and lots of water. |
