This Pete Dye course isn't the kind that only the pros can play. Located about 10 minutes from the resort in Myrtle Beach, Prestwick is a monster, measuring 7,156 yards from the championship tees. But there are five sets of tees on every hole, and few forced carries, a provision stressed by the members who commissioned the course. It has a Scottish flavor, right down to the undersized pins. |
