| Description: |
This is the Grand Strand's original golf course, designed by Hall-of-Famer Robert White in 1927. The Roosevelts and Vanderbilts teed it up here. It's lost none of its luster or allure. The staff dresses in Scottish clothing, and the club chef serves clam chowder on the tenth tee. The golf carts are shaped like little Rolls Royces. The golf is good too, particularly the Par 3s. Located about 35 minutes north of the resort. |
