One of the Grand Strand's earlier offerings, Robbers Roost is a Russell Breeden design that opened in 1964 about 45 minutes north of the resort in North Myrtle Beach. It is a long course, playing at 7,148 yards off the championship tees. It might be old, but it ain't easy, with lots of lakes and ponds. Number 16 is the signature hole, with a green tucked into the trees and protected by a pond. |
