They pitted three renowned golf course architects against each other at this three course, 54-hole layout, located about 70 minutes north of the resort in Sunset Beach, NC. Rees Jones put his name on this one, the second to open in 1990. It features elevated greens, and lots of water and sand. Jones had four large lakes to work with, and he used them well. The Jones course is the longest of the three at 6,761 yards from the championship tees. |
